The mission of Institutional Assessment is to lead the university’s efforts in accreditation and institutional effectiveness, assessment support, and to maintain transparent communication with all UF stakeholders.
Institutional Assessment leads the university in the development and documentation of institutional effectiveness at the program and unit levels, and provides institutional support for the assessment and reporting requirements for SACSCOC accreditation. Institutional Assessment guides and supports university stakeholders in the development of comprehensive assessment at the program and unit levels, with a special focus on assessment of student learning outcomes for undergraduate, graduate, professional, and certificate programs. We guide the university community in the development of strategies, processes, and standards for the assessment of student learning. We communicate with university stakeholders about institutional accreditation and assessment requirements, and advise the Provost on any necessary policy changes or development.
