Assessment Conferences at the University of Florida

Service is a primary component of the University of Florida's mission, and Institutional Assessment serves the campus, the nation, and the world through its conferences and hosted events.

Assessment in Higher Education: Enhancing Institutional Excellence

The findings of our 2017 focus group study on faculty assessment engagement were clear: the faculty wanted the opportunity to learn how their colleagues were assessing student learning. We provide this opportunity at our annual conference that brings together UF faculty, staff, and members of the higher education community from across the state, nation and the world together. Our conferences showcase presenters from UF, other Florida institutions, and beyond. This page connects viewers to the information regarding the upcoming conference, as well as the collection of presenter videos and materials from the previous conferences.

The 4th UF Assessment Conference is Thursday, March 12, 2020, in the Retiz Union. The call for proposals has closed for this event, but registration is now open.

The World Alliance for Arts Education

The University of Florida will host the 10th World Summit of the Alliance for Arts Education and the first Young Emerging Leaders in the Arts Forum from October 26-29, 2020 at the Reitz Union and Hotel. The summit is titled Context Matters: Arts Impact 2020. The summit will focus on assessment and evaluation in the arts. We are honored to host this event because this is the first summit the Alliance has held in the United States.
