The assessment of student learning in all academic programs at the University of Florida is a cornerstone measure of the effectiveness of the institution. Faculty develop plans, implement the plans, analyze the student learning data they collect, and use the results of this analysis to modify and improve their programs annually.

Academic Assessment Planning and Reporting is an essential component of the University of Florida’s assessment process for measuring student learning in all of its undergraduate, graduate, professional, and certificate academic programs. The plans contain the program's student learning outcomes, assessment measures, assessment methods and procedures, and curriculum maps/assessment timelines.

At UF, student learning outcomes and program exoectations are the same regardless of delivery mode or location . The quality and integrity of each degree is maintained whether obtained on campus, online, or at an off-campus instructional site.

This site provides faculty guidelines and resources for academic assessment planning and assessment data reporting.
