New Academic Assessment Plans

Assessment plans for all new programs - undergraduate, graduate, professional, and certificate - must be submitted to the Academic Assessment Committee via the approval site, using the ALP/AAC path. Once the program is approved, Institutional Assessment is notified and plans enter the annual renewal and data reporting cycle.

New academic assessment plans are due by the 4th Friday of the first semester there are students in the program. For guidance, see the procedures for Developing New Assessment Plans.

Note: Academic Assessment Plans for new programs that begin in the summer should be filed by the last day in April prior the start of the initial summer semester in which there are students enrolled.

Modifications to Approved Academic Assessment Plans

Academic Assessment Plan components can be modified at any time. All modifications for approved Academic Assessment Plans must be submitted to the approval system ten business days prior to the next Academic Assessment meeting. The due dates for submitting changes for Academic Assessment Committee review are shown below.
